Chamber Pops

Chamber Pops is a chamber ensemble festival hosted at the Rialto Theater for middle and high school ensembles. Uniquely, we provide the opportunity for young musicians to learn and perform covers of pops songs (i.e. Taylor Swift, The Beatles, Disney). Last year we had more than 10 groups perform at the Chamber Pops concert and we hope to have even more this year. Groups of any instrumentation are welcome!

A chamber ensemble is a small group of musicians that performs without a conductor. Some common examples are woodwind quintets, string trios, brass quartets, etc. The chamber pops concert is hosted at the historic Rialto theater in Raleigh! This is a really cool venue to play at, as opposed to the traditional school auditorium. The whole process of forming a group, rehearsing, and performing at the concert (which includes free pizza for performers!!!) is a lot of fun.
